Wouldn't magnesium supplements have much of the same effect, magnesium being necessary to process calcium among other good effects? I've read that magnesium could help with muscle soreness after intense exercise but didn't know why until I read your article. jigsawhealth.com sustained release magnesium is what I'm taking. Expensive but doesn't have the "laxative" effect that non-SR mag caps can.

Drugs and more drugs! We know not what we do! I tried one ginkgo not long ago and it was like I did not know what planet I was on for about 2 hours. I waited about a month and tried it one more time to be sure of the affect. My wife was enlisted as a witness this time. Again the same thing happened. It was really absurd and quite scary. Not all people are affected the same way by any one drug. I began to read a little about the crazies performing all these school shootings and find the all have something in common. Some kind of prescription drug. Prozac is one of them.
I don’t suppose we will wake up to the fact that any drug we take to alter a normal mental state has the potential to be very dangerous not to mention long term affects we know nothing about!
How stupid we are to think we can do drugs so we won’t be so stupid! NO TO DRUGS!
