I have written before on direct brain-computer interfaces such as the monkey brain controlled robot arm, a woman with a robotic brain controlled limb, soldiers with brain controlled limbs, a paraplegic with a matrix-neural plug in his grey matter, and a brain cap interface for gaming. Damn- Kurzweil even predicts that once the singularity comes we will all be downloading our brains into computers forming humans v 2.0.

I just thought that you may be able to add some useful insights to the BBCDigRev undertaking. Not to say that the contributions to date have not been very insightful, just that you may think of something useful to contribute that has been missed or have a different point of view on some of the things that are be churned over.
right now, I don’t think that it is a good idea to avoid physical IO devices because they are pretty handy and you know that they won’t fail never for you.
